Bibetta Boppity Boo! Bibs that work like magic…
Bibetta design and produce a wide range of unique bibs, bags and mats, many of which are made from neoprene (wetsuit material). Mums Baby Magazine put one of the Bibetta UltraBibs to the to test with a mini messy eater…
The Bibetta Ultra Bib has a 100% waterproof, rubber, inner layer and is covered in tough, durable nylon for easy cleaning and super quick drying. The outer, fabric layer absorbs only a thin layer of liquid and can be wiped clean. The Bibetta UltraBib is super soft and really flexible, making it comfortable for little ones to wear.
Bibetta UltraBibs feature a ‘scoop’ base pocket to the bib where food can be caught and collected if dropped, protecting clothing. This scooped pocket can be reversed to make ridding of discarded food far easier. The scoop pocket can also be reversed and folded for simple storage, the pocket is also made from soft, flexible neoprene and is therefore far more comfortable to wear than most other rigid, plastic bibs.
The Bibetta UltraBib is easy to put onto and remove from your child, a simple Velcro tab is featured at the back of the bib, enabling the Bibetta Ultra Bib to be altered in size if required. Once used the Bibetta UltraBib be machine washed at 30 degrees Celsius (or less) and tumble dried on a cool setting.
The Bibetta UltraBib is available in a range of sizes, colours and designs (including with or without sleeves!). Prices for the Bibetta UltraBib range between £3.99- £8.99 dependent upon size and design.
Mums Baby Magazine were particularly impressed with how easily the Bibetta UltraBib can be put on, altered in size and removed with little fuss or mess. Our mini messy eater seemed happy to wear the bib and appeared comfortable whilst using the bib. Mums Baby Magazine give the Bibetta Ultra Bib 9/10

Bringing Bibs into Fashion with the Bright and Beautiful Bubba-Bibs
Whilst bibs are a practical tool which are necessary for young children to wear, they aren’t necessarily fashionable. Standard bibs often get in the way of day to day activities for younger children as they flap over their face and are wet through after only a short amount of time.
Made in the UK from the finest cotton, Bubba-Bibs Bandana Bibs feature a fleece backing which protects your little ones clothes and skin from becoming wet, thus reducing the chances of your child experiencing a moisture/ dribble rash. Bandana style bibs are hugely popular with children as they appear far more mature than most bibs, styled in a similar fashion to a neckerchief/ day-wear scarf.
Mums Baby Magazine are big fans of bandana bibs and therefore give the Bubba-Bibs 10/10 for comfort and design. Bubba-Bibs are available in a wide range of colours and designs and can be altered in size using a two option press stud fastening. Bubba-Bibs retail at only £3.00 per bandana bib, including postage and packaging! For further designs and information visit www.bubba-bibs.co.uk
Skibz: Fashionable, Funky and Functional!
Available in a wide range of designs and patterns, Skibz are an alternative to the classic style bib. Rather than swamping a child with a large bib simply to catch dribble, why not swap the bib for a Skibz?
Skibz aren’t overly large so show off your children’s clothing more so than many classic bibs which tend to cover the entirety of children’s torsos. Younger babies who aren’t able to sit up properly often pull larger bibs over their face and can become distressed. By wearing a Skibz your little one will be unable to do this. Skibz also sell an Organic Skibz range for newborns which are bamboo based.
Skibz Dribble Bibs are super absorbent, designed specifically to soak up large amounts of moisture. Made with 100% cotton and lined with a dual layer system for ultra absorbency, moisture is drawn away from your little ones skin preventing rashes or chaffing which occurs with many other bibs. Skibz Dribble Bibs can be washed easily and are able to withstand cycle temperatures of up to 60°C.
These bandana-style bibs are soft to the touch and comfortable to wear. Each Skibz Dribble Bib has an adjustable sizing system using two alternate press studs to allow for snug yet comfortable fitting.
Mums Baby Magazine put Skibz to the test with a Toddler who loves to dribble his water rather than drinking it correctly. We found that Skibz are indeed ultra absorbent. Although the front of the Skibz had been completely drenched in water, the back of the Skibz Dribble Bib was completely dry ensuring that our toddlers skin remained clean and dry.
Although these bibs are fantastically fashionable and ultra absorbent they aren’t the ideal bib to wear during feeding time with younger children as they do not cover a huge surface area. It is therefore advised for your little one to wear a larger bib during feeding time. Skibz also have a range of
‘Feederz Bibs’ in similar designs.
Skibz Bibs are available for £10.00 from www.skibz.co.uk Mums Baby Magazine give Skibz Dribble Bibs 8/10 for making fashion functional!
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD IN ANY BIB DURING NAP/ SLEEP TIMES AS BIBS CAN BE A CHOKING HAZARD.
