With parents starting to warm to the idea of ecologically friendly nappy systems, all in one nappies tend to be all the rage as they are generally easier to get the hang on for first time parents who may find using cloth a little daunting. Mums Baby Magazine put Dottybots to the test with a heavy wetter during naptime! We put a rather cute and fluffy Dottybots Pocket Nappy onto a child for two and half hours, after changing the child upon waking the nappy had indeed soaked up the moisture and there were no leakages. The nappy was then washed at forty degrees celcius and tumble dried on a light heat and came out as good as new!
The Dottybots nappy is so soft and fluffy that it could almost be mistaken for a cuddly toy, the design is bright and colourful, the snappers/ poppers are literally everywhere so altering the size is simple. The leg gussets are well elasticated and comfortable, leaving no marks upon the skin as some nappies tend to do.

Star bums with Starbunz “Stuffer” Nappies
Not only are these cloth nappies super cute but they are also quite slim, very absorbent and very easy to use being an all in one system. Available in a wide range of designs, the Starbunz cloth nappy is a wonderful nappy for ‘showing off’ to family and friends whilst out and about.
The Starbunz All in One Nappies have a hidden waterproof fabric layer which is covered in soft fleece, the outer layer is embroidered and appliquéd is a cute animal design.
The nappy features a ‘pop in’ liner which is held in place with a popper, therefore easy to remove for washing and easy to ‘pop in’ to keep things in one piece. The liner is made from hemp and has a fleece topper to draw moisture away from the baby and into the nappy itself.
Being a pocket nappy, you can add further stuffing/ boosters to this system for heavy wetter’s or night time nappies. Inside the pocket of the nappy is an attached soaker pad made from hemp, this gives the nappy a very slim line appearance and feel. The hemp soaker pads are made up of three layers. Although this sounds bulky, it is actually quite trim and is easy to wash and dry quickly.
These nappies can be washed at 40 degrees Celsius (or up to 60 degrees if required). Simply hang out to dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting. Try to avoid the use of fabric softener, bleach or any other whitening agents.
The nappy itself fastens with two poppers, the size can be altered according to your child’s requirements. However, the nappy is available in a range of sizes:
- Small (8-13lbs)
- Medium (10-22lbs)
- Large (17-27lbs)
Upon testing this product, Mums Baby Magazine were firstly balled over with the cuteness factor of this nappy. Putting this nappy together was easy and putting in onto our model was not only easy but amusing as he found the nappy to be rather cute too…so cute that he persisted in cuddling it first before we could put it on!
Joshua (fifteen months) is modelling the Large Starbunz, he really enjoyed wearing this nappy and wasn’t very happy about its removal… thus it went into the wash quick smart ready for round two! Upon taking the nappy off we found that it was indeed absorbent and hadn’t leaked at any point, keeping Joshua dry and comfortable.
Although Mums Baby Magazine absolutely loves these nappies, we realise they are a bit pricey (starting at £15.50) but we feel that they have the ‘cloth cute factor’. We suggest getting one or two of these ‘cute, fluffy, stuffer nappies’ for parties, family get togethers 
or simply to put a smile onto your little ones face quite literally from top to bottom!

The nappy itself has a pocket with a rear opening in, attached to the nappy is a micro terry soaker pad (two layers thick) which soaks up moisture. However, you can also add booster pads and extra soakers into the pocket system for heavy wetter’s or night time nappies.
Underneath the micro terry padding/ soaker is a layer of absorbent padding made from organic cotton, this pad flaps out of the nappy for efficient washing, quick drying and simple assembly. Washing this nappy is easy, simply remove any extra padding added, then hang out the soaker pad and put into a wash at 40 degrees Celsius (or up to 100 degrees Celsius although this should not be necessary!) and hang to dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting.

The Real Easy Nappy is an easy nappy to use for first timers and those who have limited time. However, one drawback of this product is that you will need to buy bigger sizes as your child grows. Otherwise, this is a useful nappy which is slim and easy to fit a few nappies into a changing bag in comparison to many other cloth nappies which can be bulky.
