Week 12
Your Baby is about the size of a Lime!
Nearly all the organs and structures of the fetus are now formed. They will now grow and develop until your baby is born.
Fingers and toes are no longer webbed, their hair and nails now begin to grow. Your babies genitals now begin to take form, amniotic fluid begins to accumulate as your babies kidneys begin to function as baby begins to produce and excrete urine.
The muscles in the intestinal wall begin to practice peristalsis (contractions inside the intestine to aid food digestion)
Your uterus now begins to shift up and forwards as your fetus grows, due to this shift your uterus is no longer putting pressure onto your bladder.
